Providing Clean Laundry
Helping Those in Need
Laundry Love Central OK started in 2018 to address the issue of discarded new socks and children missing school due to lack of clean clothes. We offer a solution by providing the gift of clean laundry to our Neighbors in need.
So ... how does this work?
1. Just show up to to a free community event. Click on the UPCOMING EVENTS tab to see all locations, dates and times.
2. There is no appointment needed.
3. You DO NOT need proof of ID or need to prove your need. Just come.
4. You can use your own detergent and dryer sheets, but if you don't have it, we do. We have regular and hypoallergenic detergent, dryer sheets and bleach.
5. We provide up to $10 for you to wash and dry your clothes. You will be assigned a volunteer called a "Laundry Love" to assist you through the process. They will help you determine which size washer you need and add the money to the machines. There are no vouchers or cash given to guests.
6. We operate on a first come, first serve basis. We do not allow guests to pre-load machines to hopefully beat the crowd or to "hold" a machine. You will be served in the order of sign-in.
7. While you wait, you will be offered a free meal or snack, drink, new socks for everyone in your family, free pet food or treats, books, activities and information from our partners while supplies last. To learn more about our partners, click here:
